UAE Cuts Work, Residency Visa Process from 30 to 5 Days
In a major initiative, the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) . as announced a significant reduction in the processing time for work permits and residency visas. Previously taking 30 days, the processing time has now been cut down to just five days, as reported by Khaleej Times. Additionally, the number of days required to present necessary documents has been reduced from 16 to five. To facilitate this streamlined process, the UAE government has introduced a new platform called “Work Bundle,” designed to simplify the hiring process for business owners and private companies. This platform will also make it easier to renew visas for current employees.
