For a 5-kilowatt solar system, the price has decreased to 2 lakh 15 thousand rupees, while a 10-kilowatt system now costs 4 lakh 30 thousand rupees. However, there hasn't been a decrease in the prices of inverters and batteries. Solar panel dealers have observed that the price per watt has reached Rs 40 or even lower. This reduction in prices is attributed to oversupply, leading to a 30% decrease in solar panel prices within just 6 months. It's anticipated that this trend of price reduction will persist.
